The warm and friendly atmosphere at this family-owned hotel made for a delightful stay. The staff were always helpful and accommodating. The rooftop breakfasts were a fantastic way to start the day, with stunning views and a refreshing breeze. The location by the river was a key highlight, providing a beautiful backdrop and a convenient 5-minute walk to both the night market and pub street. Additionally, the availability of friendly tuk-tuk drivers right outside the hotel made exploring the area hassle-free.

It was a bit inconvenient to have to take off our shoes before entering the hotel, as sometimes the floor wasn't clean enough to walk on barefoot. The noise from the corridors and outside the hotel also disrupted sleep, making it difficult to get a good night's rest.

The staff could not have been friendlier and the rooms were very clean - all for a great price. Breakfast on the roof was a great way to start the day! Siem Reap Riverside was the best hotel I stayed at during a two week trip through SE Asia.

It's about a ten minute walk along a dark street to reach the hotel, so you definitely need a tuk tuk or moto to drive you home late at night. However, since the Siem Reap Riverside is not in the middle of the nightlife scene, it's also nice and quiet at night.

Helpful staff. Nice roof-top for breakfast and sunsets.

No safety deposit box in room, had to store valubles with reception (they were locked in the boss's office). It's about a 10 min walk to the restaurants of Pub Street area, next time I will stay a little closer to the town centre.

Comparatively less favorable location
